Runners world and carbs.

This is as close to running as I’m getting these days.


Today is the first day that I really feel some improvements in how I’m feeling. I go back to the doctor next week and I hope she says that I can start running soon. Like that day would be good. Philco wants to run me that first time I’m back at it because he thinks I’ll only be able to run a mile and then he can say that he ran farther than me. (He knows deep down that he will never be able to run farther than me even though he says he will. 😉 )

This is what has been on my menu the last 3 days – Simple Truth maple and brown sugar oatmeal and Kashi blueberry waffles.



Found these new Kashi hummus chips tonight and after trying them BOTH, they get an A+!


And if your a dip lover like I am, you must try this one! SUPER easy! Just melt/heat the “cream cheese” and “chili” and voila!

  1. Cream cheese and chili…yes please! Unfortunately my tummy reacts to cream cheese (which is devastating!!!) so I think I’ll sub in greek-yogurt which for sure reason I can tolerate. Looking forward to you getting the ok to run. Officially out again with a leg injury so I’ll be living vicariously through you 🙂
