The Runner’s Fuel

I will be using this page to add my favorite recipes – and the recipes that the Hus loves. Over the past 2 years we have taken a lot of the recipes that we love, and changed out some ingredients to make them healthier – or vegetarian. With him being diabetic (it’s under control now and he only has to take 1 pill a day instead of 4!), we learned to read ingredients and use more “real” food ingredients.

However! I am NOT creative in the kitchen whatsoever! With that being said, I’m FABULOUS at following a recipe! 😉 I’ve seriously been make fun of by The Hus because I said I “couldn’t make a recipe because you had to ‘beat’ the ingredients, and my mixer had broken and I hadn’t bought another one yet…ya. If a recipe calls for a special bowl or spoon to mix it with, I have to have it just as the recipe says – which of course means a shopping trip. 😉

So if I’m making someone else’s recipe, I’ll be sure to let you know where it REALLY came from and give credit where credit is due. I do however, have a lot of recipes in “my book” that I have no idea where they came from because they are older…
